International Experience Canada (IEC) gives young international adults the opportunity to travel and work in Canada for up to 2 years.
- You are between: 18-35 year olds (inclusive)
- Completed Certificate III in Landscape Construction
- Minimum 6 month committment*
- Advanced English language skills

Requirements For visa application
Age: 18 to 35 years old (inclusive), depending on your country of citizenship.
Passport: Valid for the entire duration of your planned stay.
Funds: At least CAD $2,500 in savings to support yourself initially.
Insurance: Mandatory health/travel insurance covering your full length of stay.
Fees: Approximately CAD $369.75 total for the IEC fee and biometrics
Processing time: 8+ weeks after all documents are submitted.

Check your Eligibility
To participate in International Experience Canada (IEC), your country or territory of citizenship must have a youth mobility agreement (YMA) with Canada.
Some countries only allow you to participate once. Others allow you to participate twice, but in different categories. Because each country is different, you should check your country’s eligibility requirements.
PLAN EARLY – There are quotas for each eligible country. You might not be in the next invitation round.
